In 1997, John Moss and Robert Feinstein met as partners with the goal of creating a new staffing company that was committed to finding positive, life improving job opportunities for people. Enthusiastically writing a business plan, John and Robert were dedicated to creating a company that was different from the rest.
Throughout the creation process, they envisioned a company that valued the lives of all candidates, clients, and recruiters. The word “balance” remained a guiding light, defining the type of company, culture, and environment they wanted to create.
Together, they established Balance Staffing, launching the first branch office in Santa Clara, CA. As Balance Staffing began growing and expanding on both coasts, John and Robert decided to share the leadership of the company. Each started managing one of the coastal territories. John oversaw the growth of the operations in California and Texas while Robert oversaw the operations in Florida and New England.
In 2010, the operations in California grew to new heights. John continued the growth of the West Coast offices to result in successful branches in San Jose, Stockton, and Modesto, California, along with locations in El Paso and Austin, Texas. As of 2020, we have successful offices in Stockton, Modesto, Merced, Salinas, San Jose, Roseville, California, Austin and El Paso, Texas and Reno, Nevada!
Today, Balance Staffing is still committed to the original goal and values that were set from the beginning. Through those principles, we successfully recruit for an array of job disciplines, including accounting and finance, administrative, clerical, engineering, information technology, light industrial, manufacturing/production, professional, and other talent.
As our company grows and expands, we will continue to appreciate the history of Balance Staffing and ensure the goals we held in the beginning of our company continue to drive us forward into our future.
